asymptote port hangs during upgrade

During the port upgrade of asymptote the upgrade hangs with these being the
last two lines being output:

###
Output written on latexusage.pdf (1 page, 88268 bytes).
Transcript written on latexusage.log.
###

This has happened before at least twice.  Previously I terminated the port
upgrade and then ran it again, the second time would be successful.

Known issue?
