why does 'ccl' require 'darwinx86' when running 'sudo port -v -s install ccl' on a Mac w/ M1?

Thank you, I suspected that was the case.
Then why does 'port install' not stop before that?
I usually do 'port info' and even 'port gohome' prior to 'port
install'. I didn't see anything (guess I didn't look carefully
enough) that stated that arm was not supported or that only x86_64
only.
