What's the status of the dotnet ports on MacPorts ?

Q1: is it something people are interested in keeping alive ?
Q2: am I better off by using the M$ installs ?

MacPorts has :

So, the runtime has been updated to dotnet-9; but the sdk hasn't
And dotnet-sdk-devel @9.0.100-preview.6.24328.19 fails to install with :

hmmm ... looks as if there's an incorrect numbering somewhere in the
Portfile :
Im guessing .../sdk-manifests/9.0.100-preview.4
ought to be .../sdk-manifests/9.0.100-preview.6

dotnet-sdk-devel @9.0.100-preview.4.24267.66_0 did install

According to https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download , the current
version are :
Version 8.0.18, released July 8, 2025
Version 9.0.7, released July 8, 2025
Version 10.0.0-preview.5.25277.114, released June 10, 2025
