How to upgrade a port after port live check ?

I didn't want  to spoil the ticket thread [MacPorts] #72249 with my noob question:

% port livecheck opencascade
opencascade seems to have been updated (port version: 7.8.0, new version:
7.9.0

How do I activate 7.9.0 ?
