macports home page hickups

There shouldn't ever be anything wrong with the main page, www.macports.org, as it's a simple static site and behind a CDN. 

The ports site, ports.macports.org, however, is frequently unavailable in recent months. I don't know if that's due to DDOS attacks from AI crawlers, as we've been experiencing on our Trac and Buildbot servers, or other problems. When you see these problems you can check its issue tracker. This time, I've already reported this problem:
