conflicting dependency issue on glib2 variants x11 and quartz

Indirectly through dependencies. I did not install directly glib2, but I 
use meld and gimp in the quartz variands

how can I check were it is coming from?

I want to keep quartz if possible, if I proceed I get a conflict.
