 I beg to differ- it is certainly to MacPorts to take responsibility to fix
 something that other does not want to.
 If something generate critical errors then it must be fixed! - whole
 discussion on forums is only making noise instead of giving solutions.
 There must be a reason why this error is CRITICAL. If it was on me, I
 would remove cairo at all from tree and create additional "unsafe"
 repository.
