This will enable you to use Terminal.

Next to find easily any Macports application, you will have to add the
following line to your ${HOME}/.zprofile:

PATH=/opt/local/bin:/opt/local/sbin:${PATH}

These are the 2 directories where Macports install binaries ( = commands ).
You will have to do this with your prefered editor ( nano, vim... )
from within the Terminal window.
