Announcing students for GSoC 2010

Hello,

for this year's issue of the Google Summer of Code program The MacPorts
Project got three slots. Our mentors had to make the hard decision how
to fill these slots from the 15 different proposals for various tasks we
received in total. Thank you for your time scoring and ranking proposals.

This summer, we will mentor the following students and projects:

  Joe Rozner
        MacPorts Web Application (MPWA)

  Vasileios Georgitzikis
        MacPorts GUI Improvements

  Andrea D'Amore
        Configuration files handling


Joe, Vasileios, welcome to our community! Andrea should already be known
as he is a committer and maintains several ports. I would appreciate if
you three could reply with a few words about yourself and your projects
as introduction to the macports-dev list for those who are
interested.
