Future MacPorts Ideas

I was browsing some pages at superuser [1] and noticed there were a few questions pertaining to ports in MacPorts. It also hints at some future functionality that might be worthwhile.

Among these are:
 * what ports have launchd items
 * what is the launchd status of a given port
 * can we make this info available in the API

I think these are good things implement rather than leave to the user, and it will also make GUI tools for MacPorts a meaningful solution for handling daemons. Dare I make an request ticket with MacPorts Future as the target? :p
