Yes, I see it in the manpage and understand what it means now, but I 
don't think its utility is obvious (it wasn't to me).  I thought some 
explanatory notes on the wiki would be helpful and will hopefully show 
up with a google search (analogous to the checksum notes on the same 
wiki page).
