Is is already, so ironically an error does get thrown because it's an
unknown command.

Looking at the portfile again, it should really just set a default
variant when no python variant is set, rather than failing. And the
python25 variant should be declared as conflicting with universal
instead of waiting until pre-build to detect that problem.
