gcc version mismatches

Kyle is looking to rebuild all MacPorts packages from source, since it'll pull down the unannounced prebuilt binaries automatically (surprise, it's biting users--have we announced it yet???).

While I think the above command does what he's after, will upgrade do things in order or will Kyle be stuck rebuilding things repeatedly?
