Hi Josh,

I downloaded the archive and could verify that the +CONTENTS file was in there:
----
$ curl http://packages.macports.org/ktoblzcheck/ktoblzcheck-1.38_0.darwin_11.x86_64.tbz2 >a.tbz2
$ tar -tvf a.tbz2
drwxr-xr-x  0 root   wheel       0 Apr 19 15:25 ./
-rw-r--r--  0 root   wheel      55 Apr 19 15:25 ./+COMMENT
-rw-r--r--  0 root   wheel    1832 Apr 19 15:25 ./+CONTENTS
…
----
So, I wonder what else causes my problems here.

A more recent thread ("binary packages and Portfile changes") discusses that it might be needed to revbump the portfile to fix this.
Should I give that a try?

Greets,
Marko
