removing bash_completion (and zsh_completion) variants

Would you suggest just adding the completion file to the port (and removing the dependency the variant has on bash-completion, and via bash-completion the bash port)?
For subversion, at least, the completion stuff is in a variant to not require everyone who wants subversion to install macports bash.
