Following the instructions in https://trac.macports.org/wiki/Migration, I have successfully wiped my old installation and then I have attempted to reinstall my ports one by one. However, when trying to install the first one (ispell) port fails fairly early with the error message below. Does anybody know of a fix/workaround (short of setting the macport user to root)?

Thanks a lot for your answer. The version of MacPorts I'm using is 2.1.3, but I carried it over from the previous system, so I'm not sure if the macports user still exists. Should I reinstall MacPorts from scratch (i.e., after completely deleting /opt/local), or is there a more efficient way of doing it?
Thanks again for your help,
Artemio
