What would YOU like to see 'port doctor' do?

"In theory." Practice has shown otherwise, and it's still risky. Most
notably, configure scripts will search /usr/local (unless you use trace
mode which should block it) and add -I/usr/local/include and
-L/usr/local/lib for stuff they find.
