xdmf I/O HDF5 linking error on MacOS: libhdf5.101.dylib not found

You shouldn't need to reactivate old versions of ports to clear this error; in fact, habitually reactivating old versions of ports could cause errors like this.

At this point, do you have any outdated ports? What's the output of "port outdated"?
