Call for Mentors - GSoC 2019

Hello all,

The Google Summer of Code has started accepting applications from
organizations. The deadline for the same is January 13, this Monday.

I would like to invite everyone involved with MacPorts who would like to
volunteer as mentors for students to help integrate them into the open
source community and succeed in completing their summer projects.

Please feel free to reply to this thread if you are interested in proposing
a project or joining/mentoring an existing one. If it's a new idea,
just describe the idea and introduce yourself.

*Please note that we have very few mentors this time, so we need to decide
if we can even participate this year depending on your responses. I'd also
like to mention that we really need more people who are familiar with the
macports-base code and willing to mentor. The development on base has been
on halt for long now.*

If possible, try to get back to us by Jan 22 or 23.
