GSoC - Android Application for all Ports

Is it possible to make an android application similar to a web application
with all the ports information and all the details. Similar to last years
GSoC project but on Android.

It will have all the capabilities of Search by Name, Date and other
capabilities of that Port.
And a list of all ports will be displayed on the Home Page.

What are you thoughts on this.
