[github] unable to generate pull request

I've followed the guide :
   https://guide.macports.org/chunked/project.github.html
but I'm unable to generate a pull request from either my own repo :

https://github.com/BjarneDMat/macports branch:dovecot2

or the macport-ports repo; they seem unable to see each other.

What can I do to fix this ?!?
I've been throug the github documentation, but I can't seem to find any
help with this issue :-(
