pkg-config sometimes strips -I/opt/local/include from its output

Might as well mention there is another similar one 

PKG_CONFIG_ALLOW_SYSTEM_LIBS: Don't strip -L/usr/lib out of libs; 

I was looking into this when Michael was having so much trouble beating gobject-introspection into submission…
