Sorry!
some month ago I upgraded my Apache2 installation. After the upgrade,
there where almost all modules missing. If I search for modules, I
find this:
mod_antispam www/mod_antispam 1.0
mod_antispam is an apache2 module that can control spam access
mod_cband www/mod_cband 0.9.5.3 bandwidth
limiting module for apache2
mod_chroot www/mod_chroot 0.4 module for
running apache2 in a secure chroot environment
mod_dosevasive www/mod_dosevasive 1.8 apache
module against DDoS
mod_fastcgi www/mod_fastcgi 2.4.6 An Apache
module that implements the FastCGI protocol
mod_fcgid www/mod_fcgid 2.1 An
alternative FastCGI module for Apache2
mod_jk www/mod_jk 1.2.25 Apache
mod_jk remote server connector
mod_jk2 www/mod_jk2 5.5.4 Apache
mod_jk2 remote server connector (from Tomcat).
mod_mono www/mod_mono 1.1.16.1 an Apache
plug-in for hosting the Mono System.Web classes
mod_perl www/mod_perl 1.30 Embeds a
Perl interpreter in the Apache 1.3 server
mod_perl2 www/mod_perl2 2.0.3 Embeds a
Perl interpreter in the Apache2 server
mod_python www/mod_python 3.3.1 Apache2
module that embeds Python within the server.
mod_python25 www/mod_python25 3.3.1 Apache2
module that embeds Python within the server.
mod_ruby www/mod_ruby 1.2.6 apache2
module embedding the Ruby interpreter
mod_security www/mod_security 1.8.6 intrusion
detection and prevention engine for web applications
mod_ssi_func www/mod_ssi_func 1.0 advanced
SSI modules for apache2
since month, without any visible change. Formerly there were modules
for authentication, ssl, rewrite, sessions, databases, compression,
proxy, aliasing, autoindexing and so on. Because Apache2 is in this
state for some month now, I think, it's time to ask, if this is the
way it is, or if the lost modules will reappear. Without
authentication, ssl and rewriting, a webserver is almost useless - at
least for me, which means nothings, I believe.
Do I do anything wrong? Or is Apache2 realy broken?
Best regards,
Manfred.
