Comment:

 I added the `platforms` variable in r33452, since it is required. I added
 sha1 and rmd160 checksums in r33453, because they're nice. The `darwin 8`
 `configure.compiler` directive got removed via #14046 in r33441. I won't
 obfuscate the maintainer's email address, because it's their choice
 whether to do that or not.
