Comment:

 The `bin:` dependency was chosen to also allow this port to be used with
 the older teTeX. `${prefix}/bin/latex` is provided by texlive, so I think
 a dependency on `bin:latex:texlive` would be appropriate.

 Not sure what the problem with $LATEX was, but depends_* does not affect
 building.
