 There are two things wrong with this picture:

 `/usr/libexec/gcc/i686-apple-darwin8/4.0.1/ld: warning -L: directory name
 (/Users/pgupta/Desktop/gcc-3.4.0/i686-apple-darwin8.11.1/libstdc++-v3/src)
 does not exist` - where is this path coming from?

 `/usr/libexec/gcc/i686-apple-darwin8/4.0.1/ld: /usr/local/lib/libstdc++.a
 (ostream-inst.o) section's (__TEXT,__eh_frame) type S_REGULAR does not
 match previous objects type S_COALESCED` - why is there a libstdc++ under
 /usr/local?
