 gimp, gimp2 do not depend on gmime nor do they test for it in configure so
 I suspect that the problem you
 are seeing is involved with the update of one of gimp's dependencies.  Can
 you look and see what port
 is being configured when the error occurs?  I can't tell from the
 information that you submitted.
