Comment:

 1) Your error is different that the libXfont issue (which I should have a
 fix for soon).  You're just not starting it correctly.  Don't use the
 startx script.  It won't work (see how it's trying to start your
 /Applications/Utilities/X11.app instead of /Applications/MacPorts/X11.app)
