 gnucash at 2.2.8_0 is now running fine. (It took several rebuilds and clean
 reinstalling of MacPorts to get to this point, though I'm not sure how
 much of it was due to earlier builds of dbus vs. leftover configuration
 issues).

 While I have the same result for the X supporting version of gnucash the
 quartz version still does not run. I've done a clean macports install but
 now I still get
