 O.k., my fault, this was the wrong example. In fact the quartz variant of
 gnucash shows the error of not finding configuration settings when it
 starts. It's a clean rebuilt of macports and I've tried all the hints
 mentioned above. Is here anyone who has a quartz variant of gnucash up and
 running?
