 Yes; I have gnucash 2.2.8 running now under quartz; it starts fine after
 restarting macos with no special handling. There are no entries in my
 .profile (all commented out) wrt dbus. If you do a[[BR]]
 launchctl list | grep freedesktop[[BR]]
 do you find anything? (I think you should because if not, then dbus-
 session will not be running for you after a restart; this is supposition
 on my part as I slowly figure out the ins/outs of operating under Macos)
