 Odd, it built fine for me a month ago and I just extracted the distfile
 and configure definitely is executable:
 {{{
 -rwxr-xr-x    1 blb  admin  1255350 Dec 12 11:48 configure*
 }}}
 Not sure what could have stripped the executable bit from it...

 Also, any particular reason for using -fn?
