 The kdebase4-runtime port actively removes the file
 `$PREFIX/share/icons/hicolor/index.theme` since it conflicts with the same
 file from hicolor-icon-theme. However, this file is badly needed for the
 fallback to hicolor icons to work (if an icon is not found in the current
 theme, i.e. in oxygen). Since 3rd party applications usually provide
 hicolor icons only, no application specific icons are shown at all.

 Proposed solution: make kdebase4-runtime also depend on `port:hicolor-
 icon-theme`. kdebase4-runtime is not fully functional without this file.
