 Romuald Conty, a member of the libnfc development team, suggests we update
 libnfc to 1.3.1, change the description to "Near Field Communication (NFC)
 library" and write up Mac OS X installation instructions using MacPorts in
 their [http://www.libnfc.org/documentation/installation documentation
 page].

 The livecheck also appears to need adjustment.
