 I just {{{selfupdate}}}d and installed octave and qtoctave-mac. The Octave
 Terminal in qtoctave produces this error along with each command:

 }}}
 Research suggests that

 this is a qtoctave/octave version compatibility issue] between the current
 versions of octave and qtoctave in MacPorts, and that updating qtoctave
 would fix this.
