 I was unable to upgrade my poppler installation. poppler @0.12.4_1 was
 installed +universal on Mac OS X 10.6.4. Upgrading poppler to 0.14
 produced a string of errors beginning with

 :info:build ld: warning: in /opt/local/lib/qt3/lib/libqt-mt.dylib, file
 was built for unsupported file format which is not the architecture being
 linked (i386)
 }}}

 /opt/local/lib/qt3/lib/libqt-mt.dylib is provided by qt3 but qt3 is not in
 poppler's direct or indirect dependencies.
