 There is undoubtedly a third-party binary package out there, created using
 MacPorts mpkg, that is using /opt/local as its prefix, that includes
 expat, that these users have installed. So yes, it is for that third-party
 packager, whoever they are, to fix, by changing to a different prefix. I
 had planned to write up something in the ProblemHotlist about this since
 we've received so many duplicates about it already.
