 I was thinking about adding a variant that depends on texlive-bin, but
 IMHO, this is not necessary and not a good solution (people who need the
 variant may forget to specify it, and using it by default would imply huge
 dependencies by default): the failure occurs only at the post-activate
 stage, which is useless if texlive-bin isn't installed anyway. If texlive-
 bin is installed later, mktexlsr is run at this time, so that everything
 is fine. So, I think the solution would be to execute mktexlsr only if it
 exists (the purpose of the test would just be to avoid a spurious error
 message).
