Comment:

 Hmm, on Snow Leopard I get the error from #22418, not the one you reported
 here.

 Have you considered using Python 2.6 instead of 2.4? Python 2.6 has ctypes
 built-in, I'm led to believe.

 Note: the "-d" flag has no effect unless you put it in the right place,
 which is immediately after the word "port", i.e. "sudo port -d install py-
 opengl"
