 I'm not sure why either. By assigning the ticket to me Joshua has
 indicated he thinks php5 is implicated, which seems likely since the
 thread that crashed was in libphp5.so. Do you have any php extensions
 installed, and if so, do you still see the problem if you disable them and
 restart apache2?
