 I should probably mention now that I used to have a really old darwinports
 installed on an old PPC and I had OS X transfer my files form there. I was
 unable to uninstall it so I just removed what I thought I needed removed
 (obviously it would not run to uninstall itself). To do this I did

 sudo rm -rf /opt/local/var/dports /Library/Tcl/darwinports1.0
 }}}
