#24019: Problem installing gtk2 python26 py26-gtk on 10.6.2 Snow Leopard

 I really would like to be helped on this thread, that i really tried to
 install gtk2, python26 and py26-gtk.

 Every time that I try to install python26 I get this error:

 Error: Target org.macports.build returned: shell command failed
 Log for tk is at:
 /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_x11_tk/main.log
 Error: The following dependencies failed to build: tk
 Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.

 And gtk2 and py26-gtk more errors.

 Is MacPorts compatible with 10.6.2 OS?
