 I really would like to be helped on this thread, that i really tried to
 install gtk2, python26 and py26-gtk.

 Every time that I try to install python26 I get this error:

 It looks like you are having a problem installing tk. But we need more
 information to determine the problem. It would be helpful if you attached
 the log file mentioned in the output you posted.

 Macports is fully compatible with Mac OS 10.6.2.
