 I think the problem is that, as you can see here and from reading the
 portfile, farsight2 wants to use python26, but python26 doesn't appear
 anywhere in the dependency chain. (I'll bet you don't have python26
 installed at all.) python26 coincidentally used to be in the dependency
 chain: farsight2 -> gtk-doc -> gnome-doc-utils, until gnome-doc-utils
 upgraded to using python27 in r74696, then switched to having python
 variants in r77494 (with python27 the default). Sounds like farsight2
 needs python variants too, again with python27 the default.
