 Installing python26 did indeed resolve the issue. However, it's a good
 thing I tried it again before trying to upgrade my ports, because now
 policykit is throwing errors when I try to upgrade it. Off to file another
 bug report and try to figure out how to use Google Voice with pidgin, I
 suppose.
