 @habmalnefrage: Great, so you were able to resolve the crash by updating
 to 1.1, and now merely need to tell Pallet where the Tcl directory is. Per
 comment:ticket:27911:1 that's now /opt/local/share/macports/Tcl.

 I believe the note about MacPorts 1.8 was meant to indicate that Pallet
 requires *at least* MacPorts 1.8. That message was added to Pallet in
 r53683 in July 2009, a month before the first beta version of MacPorts 1.8
 was released in r55261 in August, so it was meant to discourage people
 from trying to use it with MacPorts 1.7. We could probably remove
 references to the MacPorts version from Pallet now entirely.

 @kvaleras: Does updating to 1.1 also fix the crash for you, as it did for
 me and habmalnefrage?
