 Sorry, my mistake: I have just discovered that I set +qt4 as a default
 variant several months ago and forgot about it.
 Now compile works for me, too. (Snow Leopard)

 But now I have another problem, but it is possible that this is the fault
 of my specific system:
 All Videos have no audio, the vlc log says:
