 Same problem for me. The error is in the log file:
 kcal/calendarlocal.h is missing:

 _opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_kde_kipi-
 plugins/work/kipi-plugins-1.8.0/calendar/calsettings.cpp:36:32: error:
 kcal/calendarlocal.h: No such file or directory

 I looked for the file, it is nowhere on my machine.

 It seems to be part of libkcal, which is at least not available as port,
 port install libkcal does not work. Don't know how to fix this though.
