Comment:

 Remove `DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH` from your environment. What it does is tells
 all programs to look in those directories for libraries they use, rather
 than in the locations where they would otherwise look for them. Needless
 to say this is an extremely disruptive and generally error-prone thing to
 ask for.

 We also don't support you using MacPorts while having things installed in
 /usr/local as they can conflict with MacPorts.
