 You could commit whatever fix you think is most likely, then see if the
 [http://build.macports.org/ buildbot] succeeds in building it; the
 buildbot runs 10.6, AFAIK with Xcode 3, and so far, it seems to be
 [http://build.macports.org/builders/buildports-snowleopard-
 x86_64/builds/2665/steps/compile/logs/stdio experiencing the failure]
 reported in this ticket.
